Early May and Spring Bank Holidays 2026 – Pharmacy Opening Times and Available Healthcare Services
The Acorn Group Practice will be closed on Early May Bank Holiday:Monday 4th May 2026 and Spring Bank Holiday:Monday 25th May 2026
Even though we are closed, you can still get help through the following services on these days and over the weekend.

You can book appointments or get advice by using NHS 111.
The NHS recommends following its established two-step “Need Help Fast” process to make sure everyone receives the most appropriate care:
Step 1: Manage minor illnesses at home where possible, or seek help from a local pharmacy, NHS 111 online, or the NHS App.
Step 2: If things don’t get better, or you are more worried, contact NHS 111. They will help you find the right service and can book appointments for you.
Walk-in Services
To ensure patients are seen in the right place for their needs and to receive a booked appointment to keep waiting times down, it is advisable to use NHS 111, however, if you do want to walk in, the nearest service to the practice is: Teddington Memorial Hospital.

8am-8pm, Monday to Friday
X-ray
Monday to Friday: 9am – 7pm (last patient 6.45pm). Saturday, Sunday and bank holidays: 9am – 5pm (last patient 4.45pm)
🚑Emergency Departments (A&E)
A&E is only for very serious or life‑threatening emergencies. If you go to A&E with a minor problem, you may be sent to another service.
