CAMHS Self-Referral

The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS)  is an umbrella name for a range of services that assess and treat young people with emotional, behavioural, or mental health difficulties.

CAMHS accept self-referrals either by the young individual themselves (depending on their age and abilities with completing the referral form) OR by the parent/ legal guardian.

  • Please click here if you would like to complete a referral on behalf of the patient/young person.
  • Please click here for the self-referral form to be completed  by the young person themselves (recommended for patients ages 16-17)

CAMHS Child Eating Disorder Service

If you are concerned that a child or young person may have an eating disorder, please arrange an appointment with the GP to discuss and referral can be arranged. sent to CAMHS Eating Disorder Service.

RUILS

Ruils is a user-led charity supporting disabled children and adults and people with long term health & mental health conditions to live independently, be part of their community and to live life to the full. They provide information, advice, advocacy, befriending and activities to patients and their families.

Their children’s services provide parents with information, advice and support to enable them to get their young person with additional need and disabilities the education, community and home support they need to thrive:

Living Independently
 They offer a range of services that enable people to stay living at home and connected to their community:

  • Counselling
